It is right up there for wound care with super glue. About as good as it gets for fixing poly plastic tears too.
Found myself watching this last night on the edge of amusement it’s so dumb.

Tape can be good, thoughtfully applied, but in my experience, as one obsessed with adhesives and straps and tape, duct tape rarely fails to disappoint and always fails to last and always leaves nastiness behind.

Not every repair needs to be for 2 years and hold thousands of pounds. If you have to do a fuckload of temporary work then it’s good to have light-duty options that don’t chafe your fingertips, which is a very real thing with stronger adhesive tapes

Super glue works great for wound care. Beats stitches and you can get back to work quickly.
